Wolf imposes freeze on hiring, travel
HARRISBURG — As Pennsylvania budget stalemate enters its fourth month, Gov. Tom Wolf is ordering a hiring freeze and restrictions on travel.
The general hiring freeze covers most salaried and wage positions, except for caregivers, law enforcement and state revenue.
Wolf’s order also prohibits most travel and related costs.
