James John Brenneman
James John Brenneman, 84, of Prospect passed away Tuesday after an illness.
He was born June 10, 1931, in Perry Township, Lawrence County, the son of John Carr Brenneman and Bertha Young Brenneman.
He had worked in the steel industry as a welder for Pullman Standard, Halstead Mitchell, retiring from Herr-Voss.
His hobbies were listening to bluegrass music, farming and hunting. He was a Presbyterian.
Survivors include his wife, June Margaret Thomas Brenneman; four sons: Thomas (Diane) Brenneman of Butler, Jerry (Marlene) Brenneman of Butler, Roger (Jennifer) Brenneman of Ellwood City and Michael (Rebecca) Brenneman of Centerville; three daughters, Carol (Richard) Wahl of Zelienople, Alice (William) King of Englewood, Fla., and Mary (Jerry) Piroch of Butler; one brother, Raymond (Peg) Brenneman of Portersville; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
BRENNEMAN — Visitation for James John Brenneman, who died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Jay Bryan Funeral Home, 443 Main St., Prospect.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Bill Baker of the Zelienople Nazarene Church officiating. Burial will be at the Mountville Cemetery in Portersville.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
