Denise Jeanine Boyle Sinz, 61, of Shreveport, La., passed away Sept. 3 in Shreveport, La., surrounded by her family.

She was born Aug. 16, 1954, in Mars, to John and Eileen Boyle.

She worked 30 years in civil service at Barksdale Air Force Base. Denise began her career in the commissary, moved to civilian pay and ended at the 2nd Medical Group. She was recognized by the Air Force for exemplary civilian service and received her decoration at her bedside, presented by Col. Ender S. Ozgul, Commander, 2nd Medical Group. Denise was loved and respected by many friends and co-worker.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Denise is survived by her husband, Gregory W. Sinz; her son, James W. Sinz; her daughter, Priscillia Turner and her husband, John; her grandchildren, William, Kaylee and Karah Turner; and her siblings, Mary Eileen, John, Thom (Wanda), David (Nolee), Lou (JoAnn), Michele (Dan), Tim, Veronica and Annette (Wes).
