Andrew J. Kelly

Andrew J. Kelly, 90, of Emlenton, formerly of Butler, passed away early Tuesday morning at the home of his daughter in Emlenton.

Andrew was born in Bruin on Feb. 22, 1925.

He was the son of Richard and Mona Steele Kelly.

He graduated from Bruin High School.

Mr. Kelly served with the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and was stationed in the South Pacific.

Andrew was a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying as well as hunting, fishing, and gardening.

He was a dog lover and enjoyed having his faithful companion by his side.

He was employed as a painter and contractor at the Butler VA Medical Center and retired following 25 years of service.

Mr. Kelly had lived in Butler with his wife of 46 years, Roberta “Vicky” Fedorksi Kelly. Mrs. Kelly preceded him in death in 2000.

Since then he made his home with his daughter, Terri, in Emlenton and enjoyed spending most winters in Eustis, Fla.

He is survived by two daughters, Terri L. Vannell and her husband, Dale, of Emlenton, and Mona Roebuck and her husband, Larry, of Colonial Beach, Va., and seven grandchildren.

KELLY — Funeral arrangements for Andrew J.
