Helen Louise Keefer Barger

Helen Louise Keefer Barger, 87, of Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sligo, formerly of Parker, passed away Monday afternoon at the center following an illness.

Born Dec. 21, 1927, in West Monterey, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Victor and Ruth Gates Keefer.

She was married to the late Paul R. Barger on Aug. 21, 1943. He passed away April 5, 2014.

She was employed by the former W.A. Moyer and Sons Level Vial Co. of Parker, and she later served as housekeeper for many Parker area families.

Surviving are two daughters and their husbands, Esther Jean (James) Say of Westfield, N.Y., and Bonnie (Eugene) Bunnell of Porterville; a number of grandchildren and great- grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Mrs. Howard Barger of Karns City; and one sister, Martha Rottman of Garland, Texas.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Lytle.

BARGER — All arrangements for Helen Louise Barger, who died Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, are private at the family's request, and private burial was conducted Wednesday morning at the Mt.
