Gloria M. Baker, 91, of Wexford, formerly of Zelienople, passed away Sunday while under the care of North Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Dec. 29, 1923, in Evans City, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Bertha (Swanson) Muir.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Leland C. “Bud” Baker Jr. of Allison Park; her niece, Kay (John) Hrivnak of Zelienople; three special grandchildren, Michael Hrivnak of Madison, Miss., Elaine Dwyer of Bay Village, Ohio, and Timothy Hrivnak of Mount Lebanon; and eight special great-grandchildren, Maren and John Hrivnak, Liza, Joshua and Jacob Dwyer and Isaac, Anna and Nathan Hrivnak.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leland C. “Deke” Baker Sr., who passed away Feb. 3, 1990; her brother, Robert E. Muir; her sister, Elaine (Muir) Ellis; and her nephew, Louis Muir.

BAKER — The family of Gloria M. Baker, who died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A funeral ceremony will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Sterling officiating.She will be laid to rest at Butler County Memorial Park, Butler.If desired, memorial contributions may be made in Gloria's honor in support of English Lutheran Church, 200 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, PA 16063, Zelienople Historical Society, 243 S.
