Andrew M. 'Curly' Adams
Andrew M. “Curly” Adams, 82, of Espyville, Pa., passed away Monday at the Rolling Fields Nursing Home.
Born March 24, 1933, in Bradys Bend, he was the son of Ralph and Josephine (Phillips) Adams.
Mr. Adams was a machinist at Pullman Standard in Butler.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, who served during the Korean War.
He was a member of the St. Phillips Church in Linesville, Pa., and he enjoyed playing country music, bingo and using his metal detector.
Mr. Adams is survived by his sisters, Nora Eyth of Butler and Josephine Stivanson of Butler; his nephew with whom he lived, Barry Adams of Espyville, Pa.; and several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by nine brothers and six sisters.
ADAMS — Friends of Andrew M. “Curly” Adams, who died Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Cowansville, and from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Efren C. Ambre will officiate.Interment will take place at the St. Mary's Cemetery in Bradys Bend with full military honors.
