Joseph Andrew Minto

Joseph Andrew Minto, 53, of Cabot passed away Sunday at Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot.

He was born Jan. 16, 1962, in Butler, the son of the late Michael “Mickey” Minto and the late Catherine (Boswak) Minto.

Joe liked playing pool, hunting with family and friends, go kart racing and talking on the CB radio, his handle being “Red Fox,” with his CB radio friends.

Joe had a great sense of humor, and he loved to joke with people constantly. He also liked to spend time with his family, especially his nieces, Kylie and Kiera.

He was a member of the Lyndora Slovak Sokol Society, The Sons of The American Legion and the Moose Lodge.

Joe worked at Lyndora Auto Sales in Lyndora and Kenny Ross/Twin Willows Auto Sales in Valencia for the past 30 years as an automotive detailer.

Surviving are two brothers, Michael F. Minto of Cabot and Steven Minto (Lisa) of Chicora; two nieces, Emily and Sarah Minto of Chicora; his aunt and uncle, who he was closest with, Diane Hilderbrand and her husband, Merle; his uncle, Roy Zimmerman of Butler; and his aunts, Patricia Campbell of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Loretta Payne of Loveville, Md.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his uncle, Mike Boswak; and his cousin, Jason Wagner.

MINTO — Friends of Joseph Andrew Minto, who died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015, will be received from 6 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W.
