Michael Lee Green
Michael Lee Green, 65, of Butler died Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital after an illness.
He was born in Butler on Sept. 5, 1950, and was the son of Alphonse and Grayce E. Johns Green.
He was a loving father and husband. He had worked for Schwans as a salesman/driver and also as a Realtor for Coldwell Banker.
Michael was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Vietnam War.
He also attended the University of California, Berkley.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Meridian.
Michael also volunteered at the Lighthouse Food Bank in Valencia.
Survivors include his wife, Ruthann Atkinson Green who he married in June 1981; also by two sons, Justin Michael Green of Butler and Joshua Aaron Green of Butler; two daughters, Kristin Lena Green of Butler and Delores Grayce Green of Butler; and one stepdaughter, Kimberly Sue (John) Lombella of Massachusetts; also by one brother, Charles (Sonia) Green of Prospect; one sister, Linda (Tom) Bowser of Prospect; and two grandsons, Isaiah and Kaden Green.
GREEN — There will be no public visitation for Michael Lee Green, who died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Meridian with Bishop Adam Critchlow officiating.Burial will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lighthouse Food Bank in Valencia.Funeral arrangements are by the Jay Bryan Funeral Home in Prospect.
