Newly-elected county officials take office this morning

Thirteen Butler County elected officials took office this morning when they were sworn.

County Judge Timothy McCune, who was retained by voters in the Nov. 3 election, was sworn in by state Supreme Court Justice Debra Todd of Cranberry Township.

The three new county commissioners were sworn in.

Republican Leslie Osche was sworn in by Judge Thomas Doerr, Republican Kim Geyer was sworn in by Judge Marilyn Horan, and Democrat Kevin Boozel was sworn in by District Judge Lewis Stoughton.

New Slippery Rock District Judge William O'Donnell was sworn in by his brother, Butler Township District Judge Kevin O'Donnell. New Butler District Judge B.T. Fullerton was sworn in by Judge McCune.

Re-elected Cranberry Township District Judge David Kovach was sworn in by Horan, and re-elected Evans City District Judge Wayne Seibel was sworn in by Judge William Shaffer.

New Register Of Wills/Clerk Of Orphans Court Sarah Edwards was sworn in by Judge S. Michael Yeager.

District Attorney Richard Goldinger was sworn in by Yeager, Treasurer Diane Marburger was sworn in by Judge Kelley Streib, Prothonotary Glenna Walters was sworn in by Doerr and Recorder of Deeds Michele Mustello was sworn in by Shaffer.
