Janet McCaw
Janet Louise (King) McCaw, 86, of Butler passed away peacefully Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital with her daughters at her bedside.
She was born May 21, 1929, in Butler to the late Mont King and Viola (Cranmer) King.
Janet was a homemaker and a member of the Faith United Presbyterian Church in Butler. She enjoyed gardening, cross stitch, card clubs, antiques and travel. Janet loved her home and gardens. Janet was a loving sister, wife, mother and grandmother who welcomed family and friends into her home. She always enjoyed celebrating the holidays and birthdays with joy. She will always be forever in our hearts.
She is survived by three daughters, Patricia McCaw, Debora Weir and Paula McCaw, all of Butler; one grandchild, Dr. Jason Paul Fleischer, DC, and his wife, Erin, of Boiling Springs, S.C.; two great-grandchildren, Erika Rae Fleischer and Jason Paul Fleischer Jr.; two sisters, Delores “Dutch” Bennett and Judith Morgan; and by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Richard McCaw, who she married July 14, 1948, and who passed away March 2, 1992; one sister, Beverly Gibson; and three brothers, John, Donald and Gary King.
MCCAW — At the request of Janet Louise (King) McCaw, who died Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.Arrangements are being handled by Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
