East Brady man's death ruled accidental
EAST BRADY — Police have classified the death of an 67-year-old East Brady man found in his home last week as an accident.
State police in Clarion haven’t yet released the victim’s name or address, but said that emergency responders arrived at his home to find it contained “high levels of carbon monoxide.” Police haven’t said when emergency crews were called to the home.
A state police report said the man’s death occurred between 7 p.m. Thursday and 2 p.m. Saturday.
Police said further investigation by a representative of the gas company National Fuel found that the home’s boiler was leaking the gas.
The Clarion County Coroner’s office says the results of blood tests being done aren’t expected for several weeks.
A National Fuel spokesman confirmed this morning that the company was involved in testing the boiler, but more information was not immediately available.
State police did not return a message left seeking additional information.
