State police are asking anyone with information on a vandalism spree in northern Butler County to call them at 724-284-8100.

The unknown vandals struck early Friday morning, smashing mailboxes, signs and windows on several roads in Washington and Venango townships, police said. The vandalism occurred between 1 and 3 a.m. on Hilliards, Pisor, Christie and Annisville roads.

Police say the vandals may have been riding in a loud truck.
