Patricia J. “Pat” Schnur

Patricia J. “Pat” Schnur, 68, of Butler unexpectedly passed away Tuesday evening at her home.

Born March 18, 1947, in Butler, she was the daughter of Marie B. Angeloni Schnur and the late Claude C. Schnur.

Pat worked as a counselor of children. She was also active in jail ministry following her retirement.

She was a member of the Harvest Community Church in Kittanning.

Pat was a former Peace Corps volunteer. She loved to travel, especially to national parks.

She is survived by her mother, Marie B. Angeloni Schnur of Butler; one sister, Donna Cagni and her husband, Dana, of Harrisburg; and two brothers, C. Charles Schnur and his wife, Esther, of Natrona Heights and David R. Schnur of Butler.

Also surviving are two nephews; three nieces; four great-nephews; and two great-nieces.

SCHNUR — There will be no visitation for Patricia J. “Pat” Schnur, who died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016. Private funeral services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
