Thomas E. Lambing

Thomas E. Lambing, 72, of Beaver Falls went into the loving arms of Jesus Friday.

Born May 20, 1943, he was a son of the late Mary M. (Welsh) Lambing Willison and Charles Lambing.

Tom was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Brighton and the Loyal Order of Moose 957 in Harmony.

He retired from Union Local 1058, and he worked for the Mashuda Corp. as a construction worker running the steam jenny and flagging. Before that, he dynamited roads and mountains for bridge construction.

Tom enjoyed playing cards, bingo, building puzzles and watching the Steelers. He was a hard worker all his life, and he was there to lend a helping hand to anyone who asked.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy (Walker) Lambing; two brothers, Charles and Elmer Lambing; a sister, Catherine; infant twins; a half-brother, Joe Willison; and his stepfather, Earnest M. Willison.

Surviving are his second wife, Frances Louise (Chop) Cable Lambing; his favorite pet, Peaches Lambchop; two daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Steve Kennedy and Amy and Don Kostecky; five grandsons, Kevin, Justin, John, Victor and Tanner Kennedy; a granddaughter, Malia Kennedy; two great granddaughters; a great-grandson; stepdaughters Tammy L. Cable, Nelson and Shelly L. (Cable) Pizer Gulliver; four sisters, Mary Mills, Cathy Kemmer, Pat Campbell and Mert Cramer; three brothers, Leroy Lambing and Steve and Rich Willison; several nieces and nephews; and the Lowerys, Gerald, Donna and Donnie.

LAMBING — The memorial service for Thomas E. Lambing, who died Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, in the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Brighton with the Rev. Frank A. Kantz, pastor, officiating.
