Charles McCullough, 60, of Upper St. Clair was sentenced in December in Allegheny County to 2½ to five years in prison on convictions of felony theft and misdemeanor misapplication of entrusted funds. He was allowed to remain free pending appeal.

Defense attorney Adam Cogan filed notice Friday that his client will appeal.

COLLEGEVILLE, — Officials say the number of students at an eastern Pennsylvania college reporting symptoms of a stomach illness has now tops 200, but the source of the ailment remains a mystery.

Ursinus College spokesman Tom Yencho said Saturday that he believed a few more reports had trickled in. Twenty-two students at the Montgomery County school were treated at hospitals earlier in the week, but none were admitted.

The university canceled Thursday and Friday classes and weekend activities but planned to resume classes today.
