I would like to personally thank our community friends who have continually supported the needs of our veterans, not only during National Salute Week, which is Feb. 14-20, but every day throughout the year.

I would also like to invite citizens young and old to join us in honoring our veterans by volunteering. Many of our Veterans are coming to VA with special needs and challenges that require the hearts and hands of a new generation of volunteers.

Every citizen can make a positive difference in the life of a veteran patient.

Visits from community groups do so much to lift the spirits of our patients.
