BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE

Chrisann Green will sing the special music Sunday at Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68.

CHRIST COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST

The chancel choir of Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will practice at 6 p.m. today.

Super Sprouts Preschool will have an open house from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday. There will be a soup and salad potluck lunch at noon Sunday.

The First English Lutheran Church community dinner work team will meet at 4 p.m. Monday.

The food cupboard needs medium boxes of all cereals.

CHRIST'S OUTREACH

The men of Christ’s Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., will meet for their monthly breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Mac’s Route 8 Café, 16 Pittsburgh Road.

COMMUNITY LIFE

Community Life Church holds service at McQuistion Elementary School.

Congregants will observe Communion, take a building fund offering and go on a Laundromat ministry outing Sunday.

The membership class will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the YMCA, 339 N. Washington St. Sign up and pick up an application at the info hub Sunday.

COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN

Bill Bitner will lead the seekers class Sunday in the assembly room of Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St.

There will be a noisy offering of loose change during the service Sunday.

EAST BUTLER PRESBYTERIAN

East Butler Presbyterian Church, 9th and Randolph streets, East Butler, will welcome the musical group Sowing Seeds to a worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The North Butler congregation also will attend. A soup luncheon will follow the service.

FIRST BAPTIST OF EVANS CITY

The Concerned Women for Missions group will meet at 7 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Evans City, 242 S. Washington St., Evans City. Michelle Lippy, missionary to the Gambia, will be the guest speaker.

GRACE@CALVARY LUTHERAN

Grace’s Closet, a free clothing bank at Grace@Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., will be open from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The In the News Bible study will be at 9 a.m. Sunday.

There will be a Lenten service at 6 p.m. Wednesday at First English Lutheran Church. A Lenten dinner will be at 7 p.m.

Ladies’ Night Out will be at 5:30 p.m. March 3 at Rock Ann Haven, 141 Greenwood Drive.

GraceWay meets at the Center Township Elementary School on Mercer Road.

Michelle Huff, Linda Gregor and Jason Ellenberger will provide the special music for the Sunday worship service.

HILL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Executive Presbyter Alan Adams will deliver the sermon at the Sunday worship service at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St.

The One Great Hour of Sharing offering will continue through the Lenten season.

Personal-care items, school supplies, pajamas and blankets to fill backpacks for foster children of all ages will be collected through April 24. For more information, contact Arlene Roth.

MARS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars, will have a Lenten luncheon at noon Friday. Karl Kennedy will be the speaker.

The youths will host a spaghetti dinner fundraiser at 5 p.m. Sunday in the fellowship hall.

Griefshare will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the library.

NORTH BUTLER PRESBYTERIAN

North Butler Presbyterian Church, 137 N. Butler Church Road, Chicora, will join East Butler Presbyterian Church for a joint worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. No services will be held Sunday at North Butler Presbyterian Church.

RIDER LUTHERAN CHURCH

Rider Lutheran Church, 189 Rider Church Road, West Sunbury, will have a community pickle jar collection at the Sunday worship service.

There will be a joint Lenten service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., Butler.

Choir practice will be at 7 p.m. March 3.

SAINT ANDREWS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The Rev. Carl Baughman will lead the service Sunday at Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson St.

ST. JOHN’S UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST

The Rev. Liddy Barlow will be the guest speaker for morning worship Sunday at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 501 E. Main St., Evans City.

There will be a brief congregational meeting for a church survey after worship Sunday.

A chili supper will be at 5 p.m. Saturday in the fellowship hall.

The clothing drive for Butler County Foster Care will continue through the end fof February. New or gently used children’s clothing sizes 3T to size 12 are needed.

ST. LUKE'S LUTHERAN

The PM Sewing Ministry at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg, will meet at 6 p.m. today.

Funds and donated items to make baby layettes for Lutheran World Relief are listed on the Web page and available at the church.

Holy Communion will be shared at all three services Sunday.

The February service project for the new Corinthyinz ministry for young adults will be Sunday at the Lighthouse Foundation. An Agape lunch and fellowship will follow.

ST. MARK'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN

The sanctuary choir at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

There will be a Lenten worship service and reception at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter’s Anglican Church.

ST. PAUL ROMAN CATHOLIC

St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., will celebrate a Mass in Spanish at 2 p.m. Sunday.

ST. PETER'S ANGLICAN

St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 218 E. Jefferson St., will host a free community dinner from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the parish hall followed by evening prayer at 6 p.m. in the church.

TRINITY LUTHERAN

The Christian education ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

There will be a Lenten service at noon Wednesday. Self-guided stations of the cross will be after the service.

There will be a Lenten service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at First English Lutheran Church. A light supper will precede the service at 6 p.m.

The women’s Bible study will meet at 10 a.m. March 3.
