[naviga:h3]S. Butler library marks Leap Day[/naviga:h3]

SAXONBURG — The South Butler Community Library, 240 W. Main St., will celebrate Leap Day with origami frog races and a PJ story time at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Children should come to the library in pajamas for stories and songs and to make and race origami frogs that actually jump.

[naviga:h3]Dr. Seuss Night slated in Zelie[/naviga:h3]

ZELIENOPLE — The Zelienople Public Library, 227 S. High St., will host its annual Dr. Seuss Night at 6:30 p.m. March 7.

Children from ages 2 to 10 are welcome to help celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday with stories, games and a craft.

The program will be free, but registration is required by Thursday. For more information, call the library at 724-452-9330.

Notices of local upcoming news should be received by the Community Department one week in advance of the event. Entries should include the name and phone number of the person providing the information and be sent to: P.O. Box 271, Butler, PA 16003, or community@butlereagle.com.
