Alvin E. Brandenburg

Alvin E. Brandenburg, 93, of Zelienople, formerly of Fombell, passed away Thursday at his residence.

Born in Beaver Falls July 18, 1922, he was the son of the late Phillip and Ida McCandless Brandenburg.

He was a member of Calvin U.P. Church, Ellwood City.

Al was a wholesale driver for Otto Milk Co. He retired from Zeigler Motors, Zelienople as a car salesman with 15 years of service.

He was an avid golfer, enjoyed traveling and loved his flower gardens.

Al lived for his family.

He was a member of Local Union 2012.

Al was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel M. Vinroe, who he married June 4, 1949, and who died Feb. 18, 2013; also two brothers, Arthur and Harold Brandenburg; and three sisters, Ruth Zeigler, Ethel Santypal and Marcella Douthett.

He is survived by two daughters, Cindy Rice of Zelienople and Darla (Reuben) Azevedo of Cranberry Township; one son, Perry Brandenburg of Slippery Rock; and six grandchildren, Ashley, Trisha, Alexa, Kacie, Conor and Hunter.

BRANDENBURG — Friends and relatives of Alvin E. Brandenburg, who died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, will be received Saturday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 114 W.
