Frances “Fritz” J. Fry

Frances “Fritz” J. Fry, 85, of Sarver passed away Sunday at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Jan. 30, 1931, in Butler, the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Rozic) Hanchosky.

Fritz was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. She was a life member of the Butler Little Theatre. She also was a member of the Butler Musical Theater Guild and the Christian Mothers.

Surviving are two daughters, Marianne (David) Hill of Sarver and Amy (Randy) Birckbichler of Butler; two sons, Richard A. Fry Jr. of Butler and Carl J. Fry of Butler; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Anthony Fry Sr., who passed away Nov. 4, 2002, and her brother, Joseph Hanchosky, who passed away in April of 2003.

FRY — A memorial Mass for Frances Fritz J. Fry, who died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 315 Stoney Hollow Road, Cabot, with the Rev. Ward officiating.Contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.Arrangements are being handled by the Young Funeral Home, Butler.For more information, visit www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
