Georgia L. Rauschenberger
Georgia L. Rauschenberger, 82, of Butler passed away at 8:22 a.m. Wednesday at the Butler VNA In-patient Hospice.
She was born May 16, 1933, in Butler to the late Gordon Winfield Scott and Alberta (Moser) Cooper.
Mrs. Rauschenberger was a member of the Hill United Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Butler High School Class of 1951 and was an active member of the reunion committee for more than 60 years. She was a past president of the GFWC Intermediate League of Butler and the Butler Hospital Auxiliary. She served on the board of Butler Memorial Hospital and the Butler County Symphony Association. Mrs. Rauschenberger was a member of the DAR and the Order of the Eastern Star.
She greatly enjoyed greeting at the symphony concerts and at her church. She was a longtime bridge player and especially loved her Wednesday afternoon bridge game with her dearest friends. One of her greatest pleasures was attending her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's musical or sporting events.
She is survived by her two daughters, Patti Donaldson and her husband, Mark, and Cathy Zarnick and her husband, Gary; and one stepson, Gary Rauschenberger and his wife, Karenlynn, all of Butler.
She also is survived by her grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Mooch,” Michael Lachesky and his wife, Jennifer, of Summerfield, N.C., Jason Zarnick, Justin Zarnick and his wife, Christina, all of Butler, Megan Donaldson of Germany and her fiance, Marc Bouchard, of Texas and Nicholas Donaldson and his companion, Jolene Lipke, of Butler.
She is survived by four great-grandsons, Connor Lachesky, Ayden Zarnick, Riley Zarnick and Drystan McClimans; and three great-granddaughters, Aubrey and Brooke Lachesky and Kyra Kleemann-Zarnick.
She also is survived by her brother, Jon Scott of Renfrew, and her sister, Jean Laconi of New Jersey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. Rauschenberger, who she married April 24, 1964, and who died Dec. 9, 2012; and her brother, Gordon Scott of Michigan.

Rauschenberger, who died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016.A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday for family and friends at the Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., Butler.
