Butler City CouncilButler City Council Tuesday night:Accepted a bid from Wiest Asphalt Products & Paving for $123,602 for paving city streets this year.Accepted the bid from Shields Asphalt Paving for $45,513 to do curbs, ramps and sidewalks work this year.Passed a motion to demolish a house at 302 N. Washington St. The house was found to be detrimental to public health.Directed the city clerk to advertise for bids for one new police cruiser, with the stipulation that it is a 2014, 2015, or 2016 model and has less than 50 miles on it.
