Andrew “Drew” Jon Verba

Andrew “Drew” Jon Verba, 25, of Zelienople passed away Thursday evening in Fombell, Pa.

Drew Verba was born on the morning of March 5, 1990, in Ellwood City Hospital. He was the third child and the third son of Jon Arthur and Christine Marie (Marchionda) Verba.

As a child, Drew loved the outdoors and passionately pursued interests in hunting, fishing, golf, baseball and playing poker, which over the years, were refined into real talent.

Drew worked for Butler Refrigerated Meats. He was a lifelong member of St. Gregory Catholic Church and a member of the Harmony-Zelienople Sportsmen's Club.

Drew leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents, Jon and Christine Verba; his fiancee, Kayla Hudak; his older brothers and their families, Jeremiah Verba and his wife, Danielle, and Ian Verba, and his wife, Jen; his nieces, Alexis Verba, Caitlin Verba and Elliana Verba; his grandmother, Grace Marchionda Bockman; and several uncles and aunts.

VERBA — Friends of Andrew “Drew” Jon Verba, who died Thursday, March 3, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, with the Rev. Michael Roche as celebrant.The family suggests that memorial donations be made in Drew's honor to the Susan G. Komen Foundation (Race for the Cure, Breast Cancer Research & Awareness) P.O.
