Butler Police8:56 p.m. Monday — Brittany L. Lambing, 24, allegedly hit her husband in the face with a spray can that she threw at him during a domestic dispute at their home on the 300 block of Second Street. Police said the victim, 28-year-old Brannon Irvin, suffered a facial cut.Lambing left the home before officers got there.
Butler Twp PoliceWednesday — Jenna M. Geibel, 25, Hannah R. Henry, 21, and Amanda F. Skidmore, 23, all of Butler, were cited for a series of vehicle “eggings” March 26 on Carrington and Seneca drives. Each suspect is charged with disorderly conduct.
Grove City Police2:25 p.m. Wednesday — A 13-year-old student was caught carrying a 4-inch folding knife and a multitool with a folding blade at Grove City Middle School. The boy is charged in Mercer County juvenile court with possession of weapons on school property.
Middlesex Twp PoliceMonday — Police charged Michael E. Davin, 34, of Wexford with using a bad check for $945 to pay for building materials at HP Starr Lumber on Route 8. The check, which was written on a closed bank account, was passed on March 1.Davin is charged with theft by deception, receiving stolen property and bad checks.
State Police, ButlerMonday — Charles J. Ernst, 22, of Cherry Township was charged with drugged driving stemming from a traffic stop March 12 on Route 356 in Buffalo Township. Police said they stopped the suspect for a window tint violation.Ernst, who appeared impaired, acknowledged that he had smoked marijuana three hours earlier and also had a beer after work. He also admitted having contraband in his car.A search of the vehicle turned a glass jar with suspected marijuana residue, two glass pipes also with residue and a marijuana grinder, police said. Ernst was taken to ACMH Hospital in Armstrong County for a blood test.A toxicology report later confirmed he had marijuana and a small amount of alcohol in his system, documents said.Ernst is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of a combination of drugs and alcohol, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and a vehicle sun screening violation.
State Police, Kittanning12:49 a.m. Thursday — A 36-year-old Slippery Rock woman, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance on Route 422 in Worthington. She also was caught with prescription medication and drug paraphernalia.Her passenger, a 29-year-old Lyndora man who police did not identify, was found in possession of suspected crack cocaine and other contraband.Charges against both suspects are pending toxicology results.
