More than 175 Seneca Valley students raised $29,264 for the Miracle League of Southwestern PA at Raiderthon, which ran from Saturday night into Sunday morning.

The second annual event, modeled after Penn State University's THON, required the students to stand, dance or participate in activities for 12-straight hours.

They were allowed to sit down and rest only if they made a donation in exchange for a “relaxation package.”

The students beat their goal of $20,000 and raised about $10,000 more than last year.
