Marni Sue DePaoli

Marni Sue DePaoli, 49, of Grove City passed away at 1:30 a.m. Thursday at the West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh following a seven-month illness.

Born Oct. 3, 1966, in Grove City, she was the daughter of Robert McCutcheon and Linda K. Clark McCutcheon. She married Anthony M. “Tony” DePaoli on May 5, 1995.

She was a homemaker and a school teacher at the First Baptist Christian School, Butler. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church, Butler.

A graduate of Grove City High School, Class of 1985, she graduated from Slippery Rock University with a degree in education. For over 10 years she was the cook at the Slippery Rock Baptist Camp.

Marni and her family housed many foreign exchange students over the years. She loved entertaining family and friends in her home. She enjoyed traveling, tent camping, cooking and baking. Marni loved life and serving the Lord.

Survivors include her husband, Tony at home; four children, Mackenzie R. McCutcheon and his wife, Amanda, of Harrisville, Marissa D. Fleeger and Anthony M. DePaoli, both of Grove City, and Molly McClean of Butler; her parents, Robert and Linda McCutcheon of Grove City; three grandchildren, Mackenzie Ann McCutcheon of Harrisville, and Liam and Lincoln McClean, both of Butler; one sister, Mandi Gilliland and her husband, Edwin “J.R.” of Slippery Rock; and one brother, J. Wade McCutcheon and his wife, Heather, of Katy, Texas.

Her grandparents preceded her in death.

DEPAOLI — Visitation hours for Marni Sue DePaoli, who died Thursday, March 17, 2016, are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City, and from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church of Grove City, 103 Cranberry Road, Grove City.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Dave Maitland officiating. Burial will take place at the North Liberty Cemetery.Memorials in Marni's name may be made to Slippery Rock Baptist Camp (Building Fund), 130 Elliot Lane, Slippery Rock, PA 16057.
