Frances G. (Cowan) Auther
Frances G. (Cowan) Auther, 86, of Bakerstown, formerly Myrtle Beach, S.C., passed away Wednesday.
She was the beloved wife of the late John R. Auther.; the loving mother of Janet (Danny) Housekeeper of Jefferson Township, Jeffrey (Kym) Auther of Jefferson Township, John Auther of Bakerstown, Jill (Mike) Smaretsky of Renfrew and the late Jacqueline Mimm; the sister of Margaret (Harold) Lachman of Bethel Park, June (Bill) Hayes of Harrisburg and Patty (Joe) DiGovanni of Maryland; and the proud grandmother of Stephanie McKinney, Shawn (Kim) Mimm, Nicole (Jim) Edwards, Dana (Jeff) Mullen, R.J. (Lisa) Auther, Jessica (David) Malovich, Dustin Auther and Katlyn Smaretsky; and the great-grandmother of Austin, Kayla, Tyler, Chase, Codi, Jordan, Jack, J.J. and Anna and Adalyn.
Frances was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending winters in Myrtle Beach.
