Jeep Festival still Number 1
The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival still holds the world record for hosting the largest Jeep parade.
Jeep Beach, a five-day annual event in Daytona Beach, had 2,008 Jeeps in its parade April 24, according to its website jeepbeach.com.
The Jeep festival parade in Butler in June 2015 drew 2,420 vehicles from 38 states and Canada. A total of 2,937 Jeeps participated in the weekend event.
“Good news for us,” said festival director Patti Jo Lambert. “We got to keep the record.”
The 2016 festival, sponsored by the Friends of the Bantam Jeep Association, will be June 10 to 12.
