LaVerne Shea Stierheim
LaVerne Shea Stierheim, 80, of Saxonburg passed away Wednesday at her home.
Born Feb. 2, 1936, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Martin Shea and Florence Vause Shea.
LaVerne was a homemaker. She was a member of the Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Surviving are a daughter, Tracy Starr of Saxonburg; two sons, Doug (Neta) Stierheim of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Greg Stierheim of Brambleton, Va.; her grandchildren, Daniel (Martha) Stierheim, Andrew (Ashleen) Starr and Lindsey Starr; and two great-granddaughters, Eunice and Katie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Robert C. Stierheim on May 16, 2013.
STIERHAM — Friends of LaVerne Stierheim, who died Wednesday, April 6, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church with the Rev.
