Raymond Armour
Raymond C. Armour, 82, of Buffalo Township passed away Saturday while in the company of family members at Allegheny Valley Hospital.
Ray was born on July 22, 1933, in Freeport. He was the son of the late Ivalee (Spencer) and Edmond C. Armour.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
After the war, he came home and went to work for Saxonburg Heat and Light and then for Peoples Gas for 47 years. He retired in 1994. Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and working in his yard.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Eileen E. Armour; his daughter, Pamela (Tom) Reyer of Deer Lakes; and eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He also is survived by his brother, Harry L. (Christine) Armour of Lower Burrell and his sister, Bernadine Armour of Lower Burrell.
He was preceded in death by his two sons, Keith R. and Kevin M. Armour; brother, Ralph L. Armour, and his sister, Norma Jane Cleland.

Armour, who died Saturday, April 9, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Redmond Funeral Home, 524 High St., Freeport.Visitation will continue from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Greenwood Memorial Park Chapel.
