William H. “Bill and Uncle Crazy” Moore

William H. “Bill and Uncle Crazy” Moore, 55, of Emlenton passed away Thursday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

William was born Jan. 28, 1961, in Grove City. He was the son of the late L. Paul Moore, who passed away Jan. 14, 2011, and the late Lois Mong Moore, who passed away Oct. 5, 2015.

William received his education at Franklin High School.

He was most recently employed at Route 422 Auto Sales as a mechanic. William loved working there and enjoyed his fellow co-workers.

William loved to spend time outside, whether it was riding his Harley or gardening. He helped with the family farm in the earlier years of his life, and he liked all the animals on the farm, especially the cats.

William is survived by his three sisters, Ellen K. McClelland of Emlenton, Martha A. Marshall and her husband, Brad, of Pulaski, Pa., and Linda S. Moore and her husband, Larry Eakin, of Harrisville. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, Adam Marshall of Corry, Pa., Autumn Marshall of Haiti, David Moore Jr. and Kellie of Grove City and Harley Moore and his wife, Marisa, of Emlenton. Two great-nephews also survive, Dawson and Noah Moore of Emlenton.

William was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David P. Moore, who passed away Aug. 10, 2012.

MOORE — A memorial service for William H. Moore, who died Thursday, April 14, 2016, will take place later.The Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home in Clintonville is in charge of the arrangements.Friends can e-mail condolences by visiting www.mckinleyfuneralhome.net.
