Rosemary Hinchberger

Rosemary Hinchberger, 79, of Butler died Saturday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born Dec. 22, 1936, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Paul C. Convery Sr. and Rose I. (Miller) Convery.

Rosemary was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Couples Compact Bowling League and the Sunrise Ladies League. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, dancing, spending time with her grandchildren and needle point, which she won Blue Ribbon Awards for at the Butler Farm Show. She also was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Surviving are her husband, Lewis A. Hinchberger, who she married Oct. 15, 1955; her daughter, Corina Hinchberger of Pittsburgh; her son, Chris Hinchberger of Butler; her sister, Roberta (Pete) Scuoteguazza of Butler; her brother, Paul (Eileen) Convery of Wantage, N.J.; her grandchildren, Lacee Hensel, Gereme Hensel, Chelsea Hensel, Tyler Hensel, Shane Hinchberger, Jordan Hinchberger, Joel Hinchberger and Matthew Hinchberger.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Patti Lou Hensel, and a sister, Joan Harvey.

HINCHBERGER — Friends of Rosemary Hinchberger, who died Saturday, April 23, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler.
