Paul J. Wilson, 61, of Butler passed away Wednesday at his home.

Born July 20, 1954, in Butler, he was a son of the late Paul F. and Ruth A. (Graham) Wilson.

He was employed as a welder for Trinity Industries until it closed. Before that, he worked for Pullman Standard in Butler.

He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Fenelton. He was also a member of the Oneida Bow Hunters Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery and gardening.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia (Smith) Wilson, who he married Aug. 2, 2002; his best friend, Jack “Doggers”; four brothers, David, Donald and James Wilson, all of Fenelton, and Thomas (Kelly) Wilson of Butler; seven sisters, Janet Smink of Saxonburg, Linda (James) Shuler of Butler, Gertrude (Charles) McPherson of Butler, Rose Wilson of Fenelton, Rita Demarest of Butler, Ruth Turner of Butler and Donna Wilson of Fenelton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Wilson; two sisters, Nora Eppinger and Mary Wilson; his father-in-law, Russell B. Smith; his brother-in-law, Dewayne Turner; and his nephew, Brian James Demarest.

WILSON — Friends of Paul J. Wilson, who died Wednesday, April 27, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 668 Clearfield Road, Fenelton, with the Rev.
