Samuel E. Parker

Samuel E. Parker, 60, of Beaver Falls passed away Sunday at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, after an illness.

Born April 24, 1956, in Ellwood City, he was the son of Samuel B. and Grace S. Slater Parker of Zelienople.

He attended the Victory Christian Church, Cranberry Township.

He retired as a foreman from Vesuvius, formerly Lava Crucible.

A very caring man, he put everyone’s needs above his own. He served as an EMT for Zelienople. One project he remembered most was building a car with his son. He had a love of motorcycles, though never owning one, and he enjoyed the outdoors and was very interested in computers.

He is survived by his parents of Zelienople; one son, Michael (Derrillynn) Parker of Zelienople; one sister, Beverly (Jeff) Shaffer of Greencastle, Pa.; one brother, Tod (Tracey) Parker of Harrisburg; and his loving best friend, Lindsey Kunich of Beaver Falls.

A memorial service will follow with the Rev. Dwayne Burfield of the Dutilh United Methodist Church, Cranberry Township, officiating.

If desired, memorial donations for Samuel E. Parker may be made to the Zelienople Pool, the American Red Cross, the Adoption Agency or Harmony EMT’s.
