Katherine A. Eighme, 78, of Zelienople died Thursday in her home.

She was born June 7, 1937, in Johnstown, Pa., and was raised in Ebensburg, Pa. She was the daughter of the late Charles William and Dora Louise (Jones) Sickles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Eighme, in 1979 and was a member of the Park United Presbyterian Church in Zelienople.

Surviving are her children, Tammy and Terry Jackson of Jefferson, Pa., Deborah and Glenn Kaiser of Marion Township and James R. Eighme of Zelienople; five grandchildren, Ken, Terry, Adam, Jared and Stefanie; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, William and Wilma Sickles of Ebensburg.

EIGHME — Visitation for Katherine A. Eighme, who died Thursday, May 5, 2016, will be from 1 to 3:30 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in HUNTSMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE, 502 Adams St. Rochester, PA.Her funeral service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with her pastor Rev. Paul Merrill officiating. Interment will be Monday at Lloyds Cemetery in Ebensburg.
