Justin Rickert hit a two-run home run and Sam Gross had three hits, two runs scored and one batted in to lead Meridian to a 6-3 win over Mars in Butler County legion baseball play on Tuesday.

Zach Kozlowski added a single and double in support of winning pitcher Ryan Lynn, who struck out four in five innings.

Eli Brooks singled, doubled and drove in two runs for Mars while Josh Raymundo doubled.

Logan Hickey had eight strikeouts and surrendered just one hit in five innings as Saxonburg beat Cranberry Township 16-0.

Garrett Traggiai paced Saxonburg’s offense with three hits while Matt Cornetti, P.J. Gourley and Hickey each had two.

Addis Crouch tripled and scored four times.

Dallas Hays had two singles and a double as East Butler rolled to a 19-10 win over Butler City.

Garret Banner, Tyler Markilinski, David Matson and Brandon Hilderbrand each had a pair of hits for East Butler (6-1).

Colter Cavelario had a double and a single and Nick Ray added two hits for Butler City.
