Butler grad Patten named All-AmericanButler graduate Nick Patten, a freshman first baseman at the University of Delaware, has been named a 2016 Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball Magazine Freshman All-American.Patten hit .295 for the Blue Hens this season with 12 homers, 16 doubles and 46 RBI. He collected 53 hits and scored 48 runs.Among freshmen, Patten ranked third in the nation in home runs, sixth in RBI and seventh with a .565 slugging percentage. He also made the Colonial Athletic Conference All-Rookie Team.
