Blagg earns spot on ECAC first team Seneca Valley graduate and Penn State Behrend sophomore third baseman Sarah Blagg was named to the first team of the 2016 Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III South team.Blagg led the Lions in batting average at .395, home runs (three), RBI (32), hits (49) and runs scored (37).Blagg was also second on the team in doubles with 12 and was 5-for-5 in stolen bases. Blagg also had 14 multi-hit games and an 11-game hit streak.

Flyers cut ties with R.J. UmbergerAs expected, the Flyers announced Thursday that they will buy out the final year of R.J. Umberger’s contract.Umberger, 34, had two unproductive years after returning for his second stint with the Flyers.
