Gretchen Nicklas Stahl Moore, 101, of Butler, formerly of Connoquenessing, passed away Wednesday morning at Concordia of Cabot.

Born July 8, 1914, in Connoquenessing, she was the daughter of the late Conrad and Edna Saylor Nicklas.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Homer G. Stahl; her second husband, James W. Moore; one son, Homer “Skip” Stahl; and one sister.

She is survived by three granddaughters, Stacey and Amber Stahl and Samantha Naples; her great-grandchildren, Edward and Andrew Fink, plus six others; and two great-great grandchildren.

MOORE — Friends and relatives of Gretchen Nicklas Stahl Moore, who died Wednesday, May 18, 2016, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W.
