CENTER TWP — A body found at 8 a.m. Friday off Glenwood Way near Route 38 may have been moved there, either before or after the man’s death.

“It appeared he was dropped there,” said Butler County Coroner William Young. “He had no visible injuries. It didn’t appear he was beat up or anything like that.”

Young said Jason Day, the man found, was about 40 years old and from Center Township.

He said the man was dressed when he was found, and that his cause of death may have been a drug overdose. An autopsy will be done Saturday.

Deloris Sarver, who lives in a nearby house off Route 38, said this kind of incident is a first for that area.

“It’s the first time I’ve heard about it (happening), and I’ve been here for over 50 years,” she said.

A state police report was not available, and state police would not comment on the incident.
