'How to Succeed'

Red Barn players perform classic musical comedy

FRANKLIN TWP, Beaver County — The Red Barn Players will present the musical “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” Friday and Saturday and July 14-16 and 21-23 at the theater on Route 288.

The second show of the 62nd season was written by Frank Loesser and will be directed by Toni Schlemmer of Pittsburgh.

Big business takes center stage in this lampoon of life on the corporate ladder. The comedy won both the Tony Award for Best Musical and a Pulitzer Prize in 1962.

Songs feature “I Believe in You,” “Brotherhood of Man,” and “The Company Way.”

The cast includes Katie Johnson and Mary Cameron, both of Zelienople; and Cassidy Spirk and Patrick Ketter, both of Cranberry Township; along with Angela Falk Pierce, Dee Dee Evans, John Michael Taormina, Emily Danning, Zach Malinak, Kristy Dalbo, Brad Townsend, Harley Allen, Jane Lyons, Ashley Malinak, Justin Addicott, Cole Vecchio, Jordan Kester and Jacob Craig.
