Ethel R. (Crum) Jorstad, 96, of Cabot, formerly of Penn Hills, passed away Wednesday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born Jan. 6, 1920, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Alex D. Crum and Gladies (Bible) Crum.

She was a homemaker. Ethel was a member of the Holiday Park Baptist Church.

Surviving are her sons, John Jorstad of Cabot and Wayne Jorstad of Alberta, Canada; her daughter, Patricia Jorstad of Wilkinsburg; six grandchildren, Guy, Gregory, Joella, Jared, Justin and Joshua; and five great-grandchildren, Kyle, Nathan, Shaun, Lucas and Lynnea.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Eric Jorstad, who passed away Dec. 1, 2010, and her two sisters.
