Willis “Bucky” Leroy Wise

Willis “Bucky” Leroy Wise, 85, of Richland Township died Friday.

Born April 16, 1931, he was the son of Clara and Charles Wise; the beloved husband for 62 years of the late Dona Wise; the loving father of Jean Rygiel of Richland, Raymond (Mary) Wise of Jacobus, Pa., and Keith Wise of Richland; the grandfather of Matthew (Kim) Rygiel, Kerri (Michael) Mazzone, Kevin (Leah) Wise, Lucas Wise, Timmothy (Elizabeth) Sandoval, Kristen (Dustin) Foust and Sarah Sandoval.

He also is survived by 11 great-grandchildren, Chad, Brianna and Amber Rygiel, Peter and Benjamin Mazzone, Clare and Andrew Wise, Darryan Sandoval and Ryleigh, Logan and Harper Foust.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Marion Robb and Ruth Sekara.

Bucky served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War from 1951 to 1955 aboard the USS Soley and the USS Vesole.

He retired from Glenshaw Glass after 40 years of service.

He enjoyed bingo calling.

He was a life member of the Richland Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Mars Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in North Park.

WISE — The family of Willis Leroy “Bucky” Wise, who died Friday, June 24, 2016, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today and Tuesday at the Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church of North Park with the Rev. Michael Robinson, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, North Park.Family suggests donations be made to the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10301 Walter Road, Allison Park, PA 15101.Please offer condolences at www.schellhaasfh.com.
