Louise E. (Dietrich) Mowry
Louise E. (Dietrich) Mowry, 96, of Cabot, formerly of Crisswell Road in Penn Township, passed away at 4:50 a.m. Monday at the Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
She was born April 11, 1920, in Dorseyville, Pa., to the late Charles A. Dietrich and Martha C. (Keck) Dietrich.
Mrs. Mowry was a member of the Middlesex Presbyterian Church in America since 1951, where she served as a deacon and taught Sunday school for 38 years.
She is survived by four sons, Wilbert J. (Bert) Mowry Jr. and his wife, Erma, of Butler, Robert C. Mowry and his wife, Ruth, of Truth or Consequences, N.M., Barry D. Mowry of Butler and Carl D. Mowry and his wife, Tammy, of Butler; eight grandchildren, Todd Mowry and his wife, Karen Clay, Greta Remington and her husband, Charles, Kristina Callen and her husband, Robert, Jennifer Yeager and her husband, Joseph, Diane Halstead and her husband, Raymond, Chad Mowry and his wife, Amy, Brandon Mowry and his wife, Tori, and Kailyn Trimble and her husband, Ryan; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert J. “Bill” Mowry, who she married Nov. 11, 1942, and who passed away July 27, 2009, and three brothers, Clarence J. Dietrich, Albert C. Dietrich and David C. Dietrich.
MOWRY — Friends of Louise E. Mowry, who died Monday, June 27, 2016, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Middlesex Presbyterian Church in America, 116 Church Road, Butler, with the Rev. Kevin M. Bowen of the Middlesex Presbyterian Church in America officiating.
