Police search for farm vandals
ALLEGHENY TWP — A guided hunting business has been the target of vandalism for a second time this year.
On Tuesday the state police reported that they again are investigating vandalism at Larry Lint’s Pig Farm on Foxburg Road.
In the latest case on April 29 someone released an unspecified number of farm-raised wild boars. A game camera also was stolen.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.
Overnight on New Year’s Eve, vandals targeted the farm by cutting holes in the fences leading to the escape of about 70 whitetail deer and about 150 wild boars.
Lint said he caught about half of the boars and a few of the deer.
