William L. Christy
William L. Christy, 65, of Butler passed away Tuesday at his home.
He was born Jan. 4, 1951, in Butler County, the son of the late Raymond Albert Christy and Grace (Thompson) Christy.
William was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved to go camping. He had worked for Cooper Energies, drove truck for Tesones and owned his own landscaping business with his niece, B.J., and nephews, Austin and Willie.
Surviving are two sisters, Janet Christy of Butler and Mrs. Kenneth (Mary McCulloch) Schwarez of Beaver Falls; his brother, Raymond Christy Jr. of New Brighton; three nieces who were his caregivers, B.J. Wickline, Barb Reese and Carla Wagner, all of Butler; and two great-nephews, Austin Wickline and Willie Kradel, both of Butler.
He was preceded in death by one brother; two sisters; one nephew; two great-nephews; and one great niece.
CHRISTY — Friends of William L.
