Edward L. Kline

Edward L. “Roy” Kline, 90, of Zelienople passed away Sunday at the Paramount Senior Living in Seven Fields.

Born March 8, 1926, in Harmony, he was the son of the late Henry and Mary (Covert) Kline.

Roy formerly attended the Grace Church of Harmony. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post 474 of Zelienople. An avid outdoorsman, Roy enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

Roy is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Shirley M. (Lane) Kline, who he married Dec. 2, 1946; his daughters, Karen S. Boros of Harmony and Sandra L. Weyman of Zelienople; his grandchildren, Steven (Hiromi) Weyman of New York and Heather (James) Healy of Cranberry Township; and two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Taylor Healy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

KLINE — Friends of Edward L. “Roy” Kline, who died Sunday, July 24, 2016, will be received from 2 p.m. until the time of a funeral service at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.Roy will be laid to rest at the Grace Church Cemetery in Harmony.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with Roy's family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
