Luella Lorraine Adams
Luella Lorraine Adams, 85, of Sligo, Pa., formerly of Kaylor, Pa., passed away Wednesday at Clarion Hospital.
She was born March 10, 1931, in Bradys Bend, Armstrong County, the daughter of Charles H. and Mary L. (Garris) Kamerer.
Luella lived in the Kaylor area for most of her life and married Ernest Adams on Oct. 6, 1951. She enjoyed watching soap operas, working on crossword puzzles and playing bingo, but above all, she loved being with her family.
Luella devoted her life to caring for those she loved and will be best remembered for being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Her memory will be cherished by her son, Charles R. Adams and his wife, Penny, of Knox; her daughters, Sally L. Welton of Petrolia and Nancy L. Stewart and her husband, Duane, of Sligo; 31 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her sister, Laura Longdon of Clarion; and her daughter-in-law, Sheila L. Adams.
Luella was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Ernest Adams; her son, Ernest Junior Adams; her grandson, Randy Welton; one great-grandson; her brother, Charles H. Kamerer Jr.; her sisters, Helen Welton, Bernice Flick, Kate Holliday and Ida Mae Long; two infant sisters; and her son-in-law, Robert “Bob” Welton.
ADAMS — Friends of Luella Lorraine Adams, who died Wednesday, July 27, 2016, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 102 Argyle St., Petrolia.Additional visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev.
