Catherine Marie (Fleeger) Lindell
Catherine Marie (Fleeger) Lindell, 64, of Karns City passed away Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 25, 1951 in Butler, to the late James W. Fleeger and the late Patricia L. (Elliott) Fleeger.
Cathy was a 1969 graduate of Butler High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1973 from Mansfield State College. She was an art teacher for the Karns City School District from 1993 until her retirement in 2011.
Cathy was a member of American Legion Post 117 Auxiliary in Butler. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Geoffrey, as well as her beloved dogs, Monroe and Annie, and her cat, Sophie. Cathy also enjoyed fishing, camping, photography, hunting, boating and watching Sci-Fi movies.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert A. Lindell; one daughter, Lesley A. (Kadunce) Fair of Butler; one grandson, Geoffrey J.P. Fair of Butler; two sisters, Connie L. Fleeger of Butler and Cindy (Fleeger) Pullano of Apache Junction, Ariz.; one nephew, Jared Swidzinski of New Orleans, La.; two nieces, Anna (Fornari) Patro of Bel Air, Md., and Emma Fornari of Pittsburgh; and one great-nephew, Elliott Alexander Patro of Bel Air, Md.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Ann Fleeger and her son-in-law, Jeffrey A. Fair.
LINDELL — Friends of Catherine Marie (Fleeger) Lindell, who died Sunday July 31, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
